The long road to everlasting Suburban Smackdown glory has reached its pot of gold, metro Atlanta.
And the last Best OTP Downtown contestant standing is none other than No. 1 seed Alpharetta!
The nominations phase for this inaugural, March Madness-style OTP tourney began way back on March 8, followed by Round 1 action two weeks ago. Tens of thousands of votes and 15 head-to-head competitions later, A-retta has brought its A-game to stand atop Smackdown Mount Olympus!

A special acknowledgement goes out to No. 7-seed Duluth, which also climbed into the Finals and put up one valiant fight against a friendly Fulton County foe with twice the population. The last match alone saw nearly 10,400 votes cast, with Alpharetta mounting a late charge to win with 52 percent of the tally.
For rising up and winning, Alpharetta is the recipient of bragging rights and a year’s worth of good mojo. And yes, our hallowed (virtual) Golden Urby Chalice of Champions!
